AHS May meeting welcomes Sally Sampson

Sally Sampson of the Deerfield Historical  Society gave a presentation to the Atwater Historical Society. She talked about her trip to the Dominican Republic with the Caribbean Health Assistance Rehabilitation and Management (CHARM).   The mission trip was to assist at an orphanage and make repairs  to school buildings.  Children from an orphanage in Santiago got to play instruments brought by Mrs. Sampson.  The instruments were than left there for them to use .  Also they did medical check ups for the children.  It was a very informative presentation with a full house.
