The Atwater Historical Society presents the second in a series of three programs on the American Revolutionary War in Ohio. The programs will focus on Fort Laurens, the only Revolutionary War fort in Ohio. The February 24, 2010 program features Mr. Doug Angeloni to discuss the findings from the excavations during the restoration of Fort Laurens. The meetings are held at the Atwater Historical society Museum, 1219 St. Rt. 183, Atwater, Ohio, 7:30 p.m. pictured here is Ron Stanfield, President of the Atwater Historical Society, demonstrating a Revolutionary War soldiers frock coat assisted by Mr. Doug Pfouts, the speaker in the first program of the series. Mr. Pfouts brought a collection of articles for the Atwater Historical Society members and guests to look at. He also exhibited an original document from the Revolutionary War period.
